Gordon River Cruise

"Pristine serene calm river wilderness"

Board our yacht "Stormbreaker" and depart from Strahan Wharf at 1.00pm to cruise the picturesque waters of Macquarie Harbour.
Following afternoon tea, you will arrive around 4pm, at the former penal settlement of Sarah Island, where we will take you ashore to discover the fascinating ruins and hear some tales of hardship and brutality.

Returning to the yacht in the afternoon, we will cruise the short distance to the entrance of the magnificent Gordon River, where our yacht meanders to the overnight destination of Heritage Landing...

Rafter Collection - Upper Gordon

"St John's Falls World Heritage Area"

Be among the lucky few to cruise 35km up the famous Gordon River to Sir John Falls aboard our 65ft (20m) steel ketch "Stormbreaker", as we navigate the river to collect a group of intrepid rafters who have paddled the mighty Franklin River.

Cruise Macquarie Harbour and enter the Gordon River and magnificent World Heritage Area.

We are the only company granted a Government license for this precious area, so it's a real treat to be aboard.

Bed & Breakfast at the Wharf

"Right in the heart of Strahan"

This comfortable yacht is available right in the heart of Strahan for the unique waterfront Bed and Breakfast.

Our jetty is very close to the other Gordon River Cruise boat departures and activities.

"Stormbreaker" offers two private double cabins, a large eight bunk cabin (with curtains for privacy), and two bathrooms with hot showers, toilets and hand basins.

Breakfast is continental style, which you prepare yourself. It is best to bring only a bag with what you need on board. Max. 10 guests.
